Salamanca, Spain
  • Earn up to 15 credits per semester studying abroad in Salamanca; no previous Spanish language study is required.
  • Live in a shared apartment or, for an additional fee, in a Spanish homestay.
  • Choose one of five available programs: Spanish and International Studies Program (1 year of college level Spanish required) | International Business Studies Program | Medical and Health Program (fall semester only) | Integrated Studies with Spaniards Program (superior level of Spanish required) | Spanish Language and Culture Program (fall semester only).
  • An Optional Early Start – Intensive Spanish Language and Culture Preparation Program (2 weeks/3 credits) is available with all semester programs.
  • Enjoy cultural and social activities such as cooking classes, a tapas tour, guided walking tours, picnic and paddle boating, museum visits and more; volunteer opportunities are also available.
  • Excursions include a 2-day trip to Madrid and Toledo, a day trip to Segovia and a trip to wine country touring Toro and Zamora.
  • Optional excursions include a 4-day trip to Andalucía, Seville, Granada and Córdoba ($675), a 3-day trip to Lisbon, Portugal ($495), and a 4-day visit to Marrakech, Morocco ($775).
  • A 2-night tour of London, England, is included for students on the AIFS Flight Package.
  • Tuition and transcripts provided by the University of Salamanca.
